Install a new skill for my agent by describing it in English

Joao Silva installed the Jev decision-model skill into his AI fleet without writing integration code: he pasted a plain-English instruction into a session and the agent copied the folder, found the right .env file, added the key and ran the checksum verification. The skill then passed his mandatory three-reviewer gate (security, QA, technical writing) before being committed.

How it works

  1. Paste a plain-English install instruction into an AI session
  2. Agent copies the skill folder into ~/.hermes/skills
  3. Locates the profile .env and adds the API key
  4. Verifies the copy against the published SHA-256 manifest
  5. Skill passes a three-reviewer review gate
  6. Committed

Why it’s worth knowing

The agent installed and verified its own new capability from a paragraph of English.
