The AI phone control tapped the comment box and typed gibberish into a reply

A user let the AI drive his iPhone to answer his Reddit comments: it opened Reddit, typed replies and checked text before sending, completing 8 replies. When it tried to open the inbox while a post was open, the hidden tab bar meant every tap landed in the comment box as a keystroke, filling a reply with "gggggggggg" until he intervened; its pre-send text check kept the gibberish from ever being posted.

This only partly worked. Read what happened before you try it.

How it works

  1. Connected iPhone and opened Reddit, Found comments and typed replies, checking text before sending, Completed 8 replies, Tried to open inbox while a post was open, so taps landed in the comment box as keystrokes, Typed gibberish into a reply box until the user stopped it, Deleted the draft and fixed its script to leave the post first

Why it’s worth knowing

The agent could not see that the navigation bar had disappeared in this app state, so deliberate navigation taps became literal keyboard input in a live reply box under the user's own name.
